hi,
Please can you tell me if i can raise/lower the volume of MediaPortal independant of the system, i have tried the wave option but this does not acheive it either. For example, i have MediaPortal running and am watching digital tv, all is good, a commercial comes on and i would like to listen to a mp3 while waiting and mute MediaPortal, but unfortunatley if i mute or lower the volume of MediaPortal it affects the mp3. Can i change the volume independant of another program, like media player and quicktime can, i.e i can open/listen multiple windows and change the volume of each, raising and lowering whichever i choose, but i can't seem to do this with MediaPortal, its volume is controlled with/by the system as a whole not by itself. thanks paul |

As you said unfortunately MP does take control of sound, so yes everything is systemwide. 8)
