Default What is the best video codec to MyTV

Hi alls!

I need help, the question is what is the best video codec to the MyTv?

I use now the nVidia PureVideo video codec, but i want know if exist alternative. This is the perfect video codec, but not 100% compatible with MP and long time not updated. Another codecs MPV giving not so good picture.

PowerDVD is most probably the nearest to Nvidia Purevideo, as it has HW acceleration, and Nvidia actually recommend it as a further development of their own codec which they know is outdated.

Since you got a ATI-card, namely x1600 according to signature (much better if you add this to "My system"* found in User CP), you might wanna give the AVIVO codecs a go. Reason: Free and good.

If you use Vista MS own decoder is realy nice.

I'm using the new ATI/AMD 780g chipset. Firedtv -C. Where can I find the AVIO codec. Using MS decoder now. Cyberlink is not the best pick in my system. Picture gets fuzzy.
