|  Why no Mediaportal like FrontRow (Apple) Hi, i just saw a movie from Front Row, which is some kind of Mediaportal for the Apple... I was wondering, why there is not such a nice eyecandy Application for the PC... Don't get me wrong, I Love Mediaportal (as long as i have no graphics bug), but the thing like fading the desktop on startup, smooth and fast screen animation when selecting something, bluetooth remote control possibility over e.g. a bluetooth handy... just reduced to the max .... or is there some kind of project or plugin for MP ? or is this possible at all? ... just wondering... __________________ NLS ...never thought I would advertise MP around that much, so soon... (and when some dev adds better menu handling, multiple calls to modules and plugins with different options and much better dbase handling, it will be love... ah and a nice 3D front end and inter-module messaging system and...)

Country:  | A future release maybe. Eye candy is the easier part (trying to choose words very carefully here) Stability and functionality seem to be the main goals to be achieved. Look forward to both

| Portal Member | yes I know, but if you've seen real Front Row you would know what we talk about - no relation to "just a skin" there is heavy use of 3D technology in Front Row that I am not so sure a skin could implement (without skin support from MP beef up first)...
