Country: | Hi Seba, Cool - I take it you'll add a post here when the new version's available? I'll keep an eye on the thread next week, then try and install and test your new version. Cheers, Craig p.s. DogBoy - of course, the couple of other steps are that you need to make sure the plug-in is enabled, then configure it so that you select the correct version of WinPVR (ie. 1 or 2). |

Country: | Hello seba, I have Leadtek PxDTV2300 and your plugin works great in MediaPortal. I just want to use this remote also in another applications via Girder but I am not able to map all buttons (like play, rewind etc.). It is possible to modify your plugin to use with Girder? Thanks for help. |

Country: | Hi ivan, Sounds like you need the "WF_RemCtrl" utility - it's a system tray app that lets you map Leadtek remote buttons to keys or other application functions. Just google "wf_remctrl". I use it to control all the functions within PowerDVD, and also so I use buttons to start apps like MediaPortal, PowerDVD. You could probably also use it to trigger keystrokes that Girder would recognise (?) - I haven't tried using it to that degree. The only problem you may have is how it works if MediaPortal is running full-screen ..... anyway, take a look at it and see if it does the trick. Cheers, Craig |

Country: | Hi All, I made little testing, it looks good but there are still two issues: - WF_RemCtrl is not working together with CoolReciver remote plugin, when MediaPortal with CoolReciver remote plugin is running WF_RemCtrl is not working - WF_RemCtrl is not able to map POWER button which is quite anoying Regards, Ivan |

Country: | Hi all, thanks SEBA for the great job already done. I've bought recently the DTV1000 S from Leadtek, and it cames with a new remote : Y04G0051 !!! ![]() Yes, again a new one!!! ![]() (How many remotes they have with their bundles ?? It depend on the wheater, the wind??...) Well, some keys on the remote don't work with WINPVR2 (numerical ones to change the chanels). Leadtek has to upgrade their own driver! ![]() In mediaportal, I use your great plugin coolrecive, but only some keys are recognised with the defaults settings (of course!!). I'm a bit lazy you know, so maybe someone has a "Y04G0051.xml" file ready for this remote?? ![]() Thanks in advance... ![]() |

Country: | ok i've work on "Y04G0051.xml" myself. ![]() But I think I miss something : I use WF_RemCtrl.exe to see the name of the button (this name is just a label, it can be "enter", or "Enter" or "ENTER" as we want, isn't it? ) , and I look in the mediaportal.log file the code of the key pressed. <button name="NewButtonName" code="xx"> </button> But, how mediaportal knows what to do with the code received from the remote ? Cause you said : "Part with "<action layer ..." is not important, so ignore it." But inside this line we have the code for the mediaportal function. On the example below, we have the name "ENTER", the code "19", and the cmdproperty "7". Where are the complete list of cmdproperty of mediaportal? <button name="ENTER" code="19"> <action layer="0" condition="*" conproperty="-1" command="ACTION" cmdproperty="7" sound="click.wav" /> </button> thanks |
