Hi!

This is my special MediaPortal release from now on called Disaster Edition. It is based on MP 1.1 SVN but does include some important features which I need and MP does not have at the moment. This build is NOT supported by the MP Team but is permitted by them :-) So if you plan something like me on your own please be so kind and ask the team.

Features / Patches in the latest release:
- includes NEW recording option "weekly everytime" on channel X (f.e. Dr. House, all shows on thursday every week)
- selection of "only basic home", "only normal home" or normal home + basic home (under skin settings)
- play dvd from harddrive / networkdrive
- manual recording cleanup in tvserver possible
- skip mediainfo for .ts files when start playing (faster playback on slower networks for recordings)
- watch recordings without rtsp (so f.e. comskip is working)
- IRSS patch so that IRSS is restarted after initialisation of minidisplay
- no key press sound when you watch a show or play music
- using thumb jpg file in same path of recording if present

- DVD Support on Harddisk / Netshare Devices. Normally the DVD Plugin scans only for CD/DVD Roms. Now MP scan every Disk for a VIDEO_TS Folder. So you can for example Share one DVD / BD Drive in your Multiseat Setup.

Sounds good! I'd definatelytry it out once theres a MP 1.0 release with your patches. Smart strech and smarer recording are things id love to have!

If you want you can add my dll for the TvMovie Importer to the Pack.
It writes the episode Name into the episode num field.

I can´t find the source right now, but i allso modified the xmltv importer to write the episode name in the first Row of the description so you can see it in the TV-guide details window. I will try to digg it up.

hello

Don't no if i am posting this in the rigth spot but i do have trubel conecting all my clients whith this svn
all clients is hanging when turning on tv the streming wont start have to ctrlaltdel to end the client
works local server/client and is working reel good

is ther som change in port settings ?or database ?

made new istall on one of my clients it dosent metter hangs all the time

if some one have time to anser this i woud be realy happy ..
