Instructions
1. Install the latest .NET Framework 3.5
2. Download the latest MPE1 install package of MyNetFlix Plugin here
3. Read the Readme.pdf file (At least the configuration part)
4. Double click on the MPE1 file and it will prompt you to install.
5 a. If you use the Streamed MP Skin, be sure to add it to the basic menu (MyNetFlix.xml is the name of the file)
5 b. If you use the MediaStream Skin, be sure to add it to the menu in configuration.


Notes:
- When you play a movie, the Stop button will close the IE window. NOTE: Hauppauge users will have to check 'keep control when MP looses focus" for this to work properly.
- When submitting error reports, please include your MediaPortal.log and Error.log files.
- This plugin is very Context Menu driven, so please feel free to hit the info button
- If you are running themes in Windows 7 MP will loose focus when using the My NetFlix plugin. (Thnx Mike1230) Please do the following:
----- Right click on the MP icon and go to Compatibility and then check the following:
----- Disable Virtual Themes
----- Disable Desktop Composition

Features
1. Manage your DVD Queue (Add, Remove, and Move titles in your DVD Queue)
1a. Support for Sub Accounts
2. Manage your Insant Queue (Add, Remove, and Move titles in your Instant Queue)
3. View list of Movies At-Home
4. View your History (All, Watched, Rented and Shipped)
5. Search for Titles with the ability to add titles to your DVD & Instant queue.
6. Search for Actors.
7. Play movies from your Instant Queue as well as Searched titles (that support it.)
8. View Recommended titles with the ability to add titles to your DVD & Instant queue.

13. Disabled Screensaver while playing a movie (Note: If you do not use the stop button your screen saver will not be reset)
14. Remote Functions (Play, Stop, Rewind, Fast Forward, Pause, Episode Skip)
15. Fanart download from themovedb.org. (These guys supply all the fanart images, so stop on over and say hi themoviedb.org (TMDb) | The open movie database
16. Rate titles in the At-Home & Instant queues.
17. Sort titles by Title Name or Release Year.
18. View movies you have rated.
19. Keyboard Functions for Instant Movies.
20. View NetFlix Top Rated 100.
21. View NetFlix Tox Rated 25 by Genre.
22. View Apple Trailers for many popular movies.
23. Switch between List, Filmstrip, Large Icon and Small Icon views.


Key Mappings
- CTRL-a or Left Arrow: Jump back in the time line
- CTRL-s or Right Arrow: Jump ahead in the time line
- CTRL-f : Change to next episode (for titles that have episodes)
- CTRL-b : Change to previous episode (for titles that have episodes)
- F10 : Increase Volume
- F9 : Decrease Volume
- F8 : Toggle Mute/Unmute
- CTRL-p : Toggle Play/Pause


Remote Mappings
- Pause button - Pauses the movie
- Play button - Plays the movie
- Fast Forward - Skip forward on the timeline (It always starts at the beginning of the timeline. This is quirky, but it works)
- Rewind - Skips backward on the timeline (But only after you go forward on the timeline.)
- Skip forward - Skips to the next episode of a series
- Skip backward - Skips to the previous episode of a series
- Stop button - Closes the browser and returns to MP

- Changed the name of the plugin to just 'NetFlix' on the home menu.

11/18/2009 - Version 1.0.3
- Refactored Code to make it a little more streamlined
- Removed Series Disc view. If you click on a Series that is Instant View, it will take you directly to Episodes.
- Refactored cover retrieval.
- Cached last view, so when you leave My Netflix & return, it should return you to the same point you were when you left. (Unless you restart MP)

I appreciate the effort, but how about some legacy support? I can't belive I'm the only one here that cannot get any of the newer versions of MP to work... No matter what I do, none of the current SVN's work on my machine.

Hey kkozma,
I have full intentions of making a version that is 1.0 compatible when first version is solid. When I started development I was working with the latest SVN's, so I just ran with it.

Awesome!!! Thank you very much! If you need any help testing against 1.0 I'll be glad to help, because if there's a problem somewhere I seem to be able to find all of them. LOL!

I didn't mean to come off harsh, but I'm getting tired of all these plug-ins that only work with SVN's.

Im happy to report that the development is going faster than suspected. I have released a beta verion to a few testers and if all goes well a inital public release may happen before the end of the week.

I have also tested it on a 1.0 version of MP client and it works fine! So I have removed that requirement from the initial post.

Keep a look out for the initial release.....

I have updated the first post with the most current information, and current screen prints. The way testing is going I may have the initial release out tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest....
