another **** service (first last.fm, now this), unavailable for many countries (legal issues, I know) but I expect one day to read a disclaimer that stated: "The internet it's not available in your country yet. Would you like to view some free porn instead?"

Btw: IIRC there are no (Windows) API for Spotify.

An alternative could be Wimp -> http://wimp.aspiro.com/site/web3/vie...language=en_en ... in time.

You're right, sorry. I'm just bitter seeing various services delivered considering citizenship... Doesn't feel right, that's all! But I'm sure this is not the place to bring that.

Sad news (if true). I read it in a forum related to the news about Microsofts Spotify-killer. In that forum, some users stated that Spotify isn't earning enough money, and that they'll have to sell or take down the service. As far as i understood, the music companies demand more and more money to provide music to such services as Spotify.

Don't know if it's true, but i've started to pay monthly wages to have Spotify Premium (You should too), and i really hope they can give us what we need to make plugins.

There are now a spotify app for the Iphone, with help from the despotify client and was made by 3rd party developers. It's just that you need a premium account for 99sek (9-10euro)/month. Didn't think it would hit the iphone before mediaportal. Cant really imagine how ppl can compare it with last.fm, spotify is so far ahead.

Are you sure? I thought they used Spot. Don't know if it's a difference between them.

Are there any programmers out there who will, or even can make this plugin? Is it even possible in Windows, or is it limited to UNIX/Linux?

Spot is what the app is called, and it is built with help from the despotify code... according to : Han blev först med Spotify till Iphone - IDG.se (swedish)
