metropolis and all others who have problems switching between SD<->HD video:
Please try the attached TsReader.ax filter.
This should solve your problems.

Hello,

I have a problem with the TV Server. It started a few SVN's ago. The Server hangs after ca. 30 minutes and TV can not be started. The Logs are here. I hope this is enough information.

Just went back to 8.3 and works too.
Will try 8.7 beta now.
So this is no MediaPortal problem. However I'm very happy to find solutions here as fast as nowhere else.

the new tsreader is work ,change program is very fast in same channel.
but hang in h264 to mpeg2.
i use ati driver 7.11 2600xt ,vista sp1 x64 use evr,
and this svn is kill the tvserver and hang when i use "R" to recode
is powerdvd hard decode error ?

Has anyone managed to play the recorded tv movies wich are recorded with Vista MCE. I see them in mediaportal but when clicking on them they won't play.

It works....better.

Sometimes the switch between SD<->HD now works, however MediaPortal crashes quiet often right now.
It seems to have something to do witch switching from HD back to FTC (Free-to-cable) channel. Switching from HD to encoded channel works (as far as I could tell in this short time). Logs of the last attempt are attached.

This works from sd to hd but not from hd to sd. I use tt s3200 on winxp sp3
