Hi ysmp. Yes I think exporting movie details to an external file format is a good idea, we have a variation of your suggestion
scheduled for a future release. We have had a few different developers look at it but ultimately all of them have ended up setting it aside. So eventually this will happen, and maybe sooner rather than later if a developer hacks it out and submits a patch. For now though it is scheduled for probably late 2009, if I had to guess. If people start clamoring for it though it will come sooner, so if this is important to you, maybe create a thread on the forums to see how many people would use such a feature?
