Ok, done. And working now. Thanks. And settings and plug-ins, etc., conserved from 2.4. I had hoped that the update would solve the problem with no sound in second picture in PiP mode, which I have never been able to fix (a separate thread), but that hasn't changed.

I just updated from 2.4. Update did not conserve my channels or epg plug-in or anything, looks like, which of course was a disappointment. However, the bigger concern is that the program appears to see my Hauppauge quad tuner card, but I is not scanning for channels. Ordinarily, I get about 75...

Thanks much. This worked for me (don't know why it doesn't dowload properly from the site for me). Note however, that this comes up (under Properties) as version 1.7.0 (same as what I had), not 1.7.2.

WJW-- Are you able to share the file with me here? For some reason I haven't been able to fathom, the file from the site downloads for me as a Windows install, and it won't install and I can't extract the application from it. The version I have now is 1.7.0. Thanks, N.

I was getting the usual notice and was using the "Run anyway" command. I was not getting the options in the tutorial you linked, perhaps because I'm running Win 10, not 11. Or perhaps because it was being listed as an install program, so I was getting "uninstall" where the tutorial shows...

My mc2xml.exe also suddenly stopped working. However, the "archive" copy won't install (and the download is an install package, correct?). I get the error pop up "This installation package could not be opened... etc." Does anyone know what's going on?

I get the same graph for both channels in PiP mode. See attached. No sound from second channel (even it it's subsequently switched to be the main channel), but the graph stays the same in any of the possible scenarios. N.
