I thought I'd done all necessary steps to get Auto Login to work though it seems not. Manual login gets me to what I'm looking for, but I was expecting Auto Login to take me straight to the account of choice without going through the manual process.
Any hints, tips, tricks, advice?
Ok, thanks for the User Management tip - I now get what I would expect. Now all I have to do is to figure out how to make Auto Login do what it says on the tin. The only way to make it work is to manually log in each time.
Any hints as to what I'm missing with the login system?
Playing a media item until a certain progress (e.g. movie 50%, clicking by mouse to the middle of the progress bar is fine)
Stopping the playback
Selecting same media item does offer the option "resume playback", BUT:
Exiting MP2, restarting MP2, then selecting that same media item doesn't offer...
I tried another uninstall, this time subsequently deleting folders:
'C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal',
'C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal'.
Re-install per defaults.
Server media sources for videos are network neighbourhood. Still the same issue.
Any suggestions where else to look?

Thanks, I tried all suggestions, but to no avail.
I notice when I uninstall / re-install my previous setup seems to be retained. How do I remove ALL aspects, files, etc.,? If there's a corrupted setting, then might that not be implemented after said uninstall / reinstall?

So "Resume playback from" only works when MediaPortal 2 has NOT been turned off, meaning if I shut MediaPortal 2 down, restart it and go back to the video I had been watching, it will start only from the beginning - there is no pop-up menu asking if I wish to "Resume playback from" or "Play from...
Sort of related question to the last post, Win 10 decided to remove EPG Buddy executable recently (vielen Dank Herr Gates) so I took the opportunity to download the latest version and found Mr. Gates' wonderful software won't let me. How do I get the file past the damned security measure?

Thanks Lehmden, I've come to that same conclusion about tv.com - it would error out on some channels on one run, fill them in on a later run but then error out of others. Not what I'd call reliable ................ tvtv.us won't allow epg's so that's out. I was actually looking for a backup to...
Version 0.5.0.7 / tvguide.com now works fine, no runtime problems or errors, no problems with loading channels and programs into MediaPortal - many thanks!! Don't know if it helps, but I attached the resulting tvguide xml file.
I'm still at a loss as to why the WebGrab+ / tv.com...
I'm on Windows 10, no anti virus, no ad blockers, nothing. Issue started either 17th or 18th January as EPG last had entries for Jan 17th. I'm in the process of getting WebGrab+Plus running, it gets through to tv.com ok. Tried using the WebGrab option in EPG Buddy, though as it's so complicated...
