SiliconDust HDHomeRun Flex 4K and ATSC 3.0

Yea, my experiment too has been put on hold until the AC-4 is more widely used. Hopefully the FFmpeg codecs will get updated soon and then my HDFX-4K scans will work in MediaPortal. -- And neither am I complaining that it hasn't happened yet. It's just been something to noodle around with...

SiliconDust HDHomeRun Flex 4K and ATSC 3.0

I recently purchased an HDHomeRun FLEX 4K (Model: HDFX-4K). Related, I live near Toronto (Canada), and I can capture over-the-air broadcasts from Toronto, Hamilton and Buffalo (USA). All of my ATSC (1.0) channels are working well, some showing slightly better signal strength than with my...

Anyone else having issues with MC2XML? (not a Mediaportal issue)

Gcarr - I did not try it with Schedules Direct. I had been using it with TVGuide.com and that has stopped working. I tried it again with the version you linked (from the Internet Archive) and I get the same error with TVGuide.com. However, the Internet Archive version - despite showing the...

WebEPG - ontvtonight.com USTV grabber file

Jean, I'm not sure WebEPG can do it either... I looked through all of the wiki templates and instructions. I saw the "modify" command, but it doesn't seem to be quite what I need. FYI, I was using mc2xml but it stopped working for me a few days ago. I'm in Canada and zap2xml doesn't get the...

WebEPG - ontvtonight.com USTV grabber file

Is there a way to add an asterix (*) or maintain the "New" tag on the series name? For example, the TV show "Mom". It comes on every day in syndication (reruns) and there are also new episodes once per week on the same channel. Ultimately, I want some way so my timers only find new episodes...

    Cannot connect to TV Server

In the past month I upgraded my network switch to a gigabit switch... after I made this change, I too lost my connection. Using the ...etc/hosts trick from dk_akj fixed things right up. Thanks dk_akj.:thx:

    Cannot connect to TV Server

I had the same problem... I eventually found a solution here in the forum, but I can't seem to locate the original post quickly. In any event, the fix for me was to change my TV Server Configuration. Go to (left side of TV Server Configuration) the "Streaming Server" settings. Then, on right...

    possible to undo channel combining?

Sorry, I haven't found a way to "un-combine" channels, but what I did to get rid of the dual entries in my Guide was create a new channel group called "OTA" (Over The Air). I then populated it with only a single copy of any one channel. Maybe this would help for you too.
