Hi,
how i could include title (in fact album's name) of thumbnails in the myMusic section? Indeed i don't have cover arts for all my albums and it's difficult to identify blank ones.
What xml file must i change?

Thanks
Fabien

Add, and modify the values of the following tags:

<textXOff>10</textXOff>
<textYOff>10</textYOff>

to the Thumbnail Panel control in the common.facade.music.xml.

A quote regarding text color in Soduko:

Any news on this? Black-on-blue is not very eye friendly

Hey Psycho, I was getting tired of monochrome, so I checked out Indigo - Cool colors!
But (and that's a sad discovery I made a long while ago) my LCD TV doesn't actually show 16 millions colors, it's probably closer to 18 bits. Drives me a bit mad when I think about it given it's not advertised anywhere...
Anyway, the blue background of indigo looks really bad on my TV, while it looks good enough on my monitor. So, I fired up photoshop and did some dithering tests, and the result is way better looking.

My process:
- take the original picture, turn it to Lab color mode to get luminance + a/b color planes
- copy the luminance to a new image, turn it to 16 bits
- do a blur to make the gradient looks smoother
- add noise - uniform, 0,3 to 0,5%, depends on the gradient starting & ending color really. The noise needs to be barely noticeable.
- copy the whole image, paste it back to the luminance channel in the original image
- go back to RGB, save.

Of course, the background image goes from 85KB to 1.4MB - but it's pretty smooth now
Also, given you have the original images and you don't have to "reverse engineer" each pictures, you could adapt the process to add the noise only where there are gradients. The dialog / context background are also looking pretty bad on my TV. But they're toughter to fix for me because of the borders & the transparencies.

Anyway, it's just a tip, if you're willing to take that in account for the next releases of your more colorful skins, it'd be awesome
If not I'll keep on tweaking things on my end !
thanks

Excuse the dumb question. Does this skin work with MP RC 1.0? If not, where can I find the required SVN version? Will it be stable enough?

Thanks

If you run RC1 you should be fine, some minor skin updates may require RC2 or later
I'm running RC2 with the latest weekly SVN, I'd recommended RC2, as a lot of plugin authors are updating their releases to support RC2.
