Default Monochrome Colours on Bravia X-Series

Hi, I have an issue with the colours being displayed on my Bravia X46". I can barely distinguish between the watched colour and the not-watched colour in TVSeries.

When I display it on my development PC Dell 24" screen, I clearly tell them apart.

I was wondering if anyone else experienced this with a Bravia television or similar. I also would like to know if you do have a Bravia X-Series and dont see this problem, are you using custom display settings?

Im using the default display settings as I can't be bothered figuring out whats best for each source. But wouldnt mind copying from someone

Cheers,
Damien

Maybe you should calibrate your Sony Bravia?

your probably gonna have to be "bothered" if you wanna fix the problem. sounds like you need calibration.

what connection do you use between PC and Bravia.
I have a 52" Bravia conected via HDMI to a DVI port of a nVidia 8600GT card and colors are bright, vivid and sharp.

use a calibration dvd like digital video essentials. that's the easiest way.

Im also using a 8600GT connected via DVI->HDMI, colours are bright, vivid and sharp. I just cant make out the difference between the watched and not watched colour. People freak out when they see it, it looks awesome.

The watched colour is suppose to be Blue, can you see that properly? Also have you done any custom display settings either on your PC or HTPC?
