Why do you want a background? Just use a black background. Don't use any icons on your desktop and set MP to run in full screen and hide the taskbar. That way you never see anything from your computers desktop.

Why dont the mouse work propertly in Monochrome? For example in "My Videos" there is no way to scroll through all movies and select and play. I have to use my keyboard direction keys to navigate propertly. It would also be nice to use the "scroll wheel" in movies...
Maybe it works in "File list, viewing mode" but im using "Filmstrip, viewing mode".

Some help please?

hi, i love this skin, it does everything i want apart from 1 major problem. i use kmplayer as an external player from within mediaportal. to control kmplayer i use iMon manager with my MCE remote. however, with the monochrome skin, iMon doesnt seem to realise when kmplayer is active, however if i use the default skin iMon can detect that kmplayer is in use and therefore i can control it with my remote.

has anyone come across this problem before? is there a way to fix it? it has to be related to the way monochrome skin handles kmplayer. i really appreciate your help on this!

Hi,

I downloaded the v2.0 of the MyOrganizer Plugin. I´d say I put the files in the right directories.

I run the plugin configuration.

But when I select MyOrganizer in the Monochrome Skin I get the this message: missing or invalid file

What can I do ?

Could anybody make a mod of the TV series (screen with FanArt) so that all the info is not on the right but on the bottom of the screen?
It is the only part of Monochrome that I do not like....

Try to move the controls yourself, TV-series xml's is pretty well documented normally, and editing xml is actually a lot easier then you would think =)

Either that or grab a tvseries.xml from a skin you like, and just make searches in the .xml to find out what texture names are used (search for .png). When you know the texture names, simply replace them with similar textures from your monochrome media

Most of the cool Tvseries skin have only got one texture (appart from the background) and a dvd/season cover..

Why not use Vignette versions (when they take the full art and add a shaded black right and bottom area) of the fan art instead from thetvdb.com, or left aligned pics.
