Really good work Psycho Reptile!! very, very nice... i like so much the minimalistic style. I have two suggestions for the next release:

1) The icons used doesn't match with the overall style of the skin (i like very much the icons in basic home screen, etc. but icons for drives, folders, etc. are not in the style)

2) Please, take a look at this skin: http://rapidshare.com/files/65508455/Xephyr.rar.html may be that you can use a simmilar way to display icons in basic home screen, keeping the selected option always in the middle and scrolling all the other icons. Also, doing it this way, you can add also two useful icons in basic home screen: My pictures and also My programs.

Both of these are supported. mytvseries looks really good but mesfilms is messed up for me. There is a big space on the left where I think the movie poster should be, but instead the poster is very small and on the top. Also there is a variety of spacing issues on the movie detail page.

Oh, thanks for the heads up. Yep TVSeries is supported, but with the old version, it looks messed up. I just upgraded.. but now I'm having different issues.. Only the first 3 rows of my tv series show up. I can hover to the 4th and 5th rows blindly, and can see series descriptions, but no banners show up, and neither does the selection box.

Also, since there's now horizontal movement, i would suggest making the left-right buttons not change to a different view (genres, latest, etc) immediately after going beyond the 3 shows per row. Accidentally going beyond the boundaries and changing views is kind of annoying. Instead, a drop down box where the view label is would be better. or better yet, make us press 'enter' on the view label to cycle through the views.

Thanks.. just updated to the latest SVN. Looks awesome now, once I deleted fan art thumbs. Okay, so I have very few issues now.. just mainly with some of the layouts in my music. I had earlier said that there were some labels on the right of the screen in filmstrip; well actually the same issue appears in Icons and Big Icons. Also, in List and Big Icon List mode, thumbnails do show up near each entry, but they don't show up on the left of the screen (where there's a black box waiting for thumbnails).

I'd also like the basic home screen to have a Video menu just like the music menu for TV series and Films plugins.. but I guess not everyone uses those plugins (though they should!).

How do I enable the multiple rows/columns view in TV Series? All I am getting is a row down the extreme right of the screen and a huge blank space to its left. I have updated to latest SVN (MediaPortal SVN-Snapshot: 10-31-2007 02-23h - Revision:16403) and cleared skin cache folder out, but still the same, any ideas anyone?

You need latest SVN of TV-Series as well. You'll find it in the TV-Series forum.

Ok my thoughts after 5 min:

- The folder icons etc just look wrong(im sure they are going to be replaced - for now ill just steal the ones from xface i think)
- I dont like the fact that you put the "info" in the middle of the screen when watching TV/Movies (Harley made the same "mistake" in xface). IMO it looks way better with a progressbar on top of the screen and a bar with info on the bottom.
- I would some way to enter tv-series faster, as its my main use in MP(this goes for many people i think) Maybe a Video Menu should be applied where Myfilms, My videos and TV-Series could show up? If this isnt going to happen maybe ill look into it myself even tho i have no knowledge of xml. Ill just take a look at the way music-menu works, maybe i can copy that i just edit some links?

edit: i have a problem with tv-series myself here; i only get the columns on the left. Its a resolution problem. When I adjust the res to 1280x720 its ok, but with 1360x768 one column disappears; probably because its not enough room. Vista/Nvidia/powerstrip wont let me have 1366x768, and thats the source of the problem. Since 1280:720 isnt the same as 1360:768(But 1365.33333:768 is) What part of the xml can i edit so theres room for the last column?

I've tried to make a video menu like the music menu but it doesn't work, can anybody help me? I've replaced the hyperlink in My videos icon with 9999 and then i've created VideosMenu.xml identical to MusicMenu, but using the ID 9999, but when i click over My videos it does nothing... why?

I've another idea about this skin, it could be really amazing to have an option to have the skin in any colour. I think that it can be done including a batch processor with the skin wich processes all black elements in the skin changing the hue of the image or colorizing in some way. I think that this can be done with some kind of command line processor that processes the necessary files.
