| Portal Member | Hi, Please forgive me for the quality of the attached picture (and that I borrowed from the MP gallery). I'm by no means a designer but that you know just by looking at the picture. What I'm trying to show with this picture is that I would like; 1. Get an overview of the important TV stuff (whats on now, your recordings and what recordings you have set for the future). 2. Decreas the number of screens you have to use to access information 3. Remove menu items that really has to do with the current channel you are watching (like teletext), (and move the menu item to the info menu in live TV). 4. Remove menu items that is related to you watching TV like Timeshifting, Channel change (and move the menu item to the info menu in live TV). 5. Remove menu items that is related to you watching the guide like Search (and move the menu item to the guide). I have no place for the small TV viewer that exists today. Could perhaps be included but I'm not sure it adds value. Again, the picture should only show structure, the design is then up to all of MPs talented skin designers.

| Portal Member | You are probably correct. Removed the "Recorded TV" section and added a link to this instead.... new picture included.

| Portal Member | And we should use the four colored buttons much more. So in this example it could be: Live TV -> yellow Recorded -> red TV Series -> green TV Guide -> blue It's much easier to navigate, quicker und women like it :-) So the four colored buttons should provide access to the four most used functions on every screen. |

| Portal Member | Yeah Cul8er I like it. I think more space can be made in the page by making the TV Preview smaller, who actually watches TV in the "My TV" screen window, I think a preview is important but can be just small like it is in guide. I like the idea of more dynamic content on this page like the "Now Playing Listings" |

Country: | Making a synthesis of all TV information in one screen is a very good approach. But showing all information is not enough. It would be great if MP help me to make a choice. Ok we have the TV Guide with many tempting shows at the current time or later. But when I try to watch one of them I could have a conflict with a recording show or a scheduling show in 10 minutes. MP would show only what I can do and not what I could do. I can watch recorded and current recording shows. If I have a DVB card maybe I can watch some another channels on the same transponder but only this one. I have a multi-seat installation with 2 different card types in the server (1 TNT, 1 DVB-S). One seat use the DVB-S card: My choice on the another seat is only the current watching DVB-S channel (or maybe other channels on the same transponder) and channels map on the TNT card. This way would be more end-user friendly. |

Country: | In the "now on tv" area i miss a statusbar that tells how mutch of the show is left. Like when watching a movie. Or thats what the XX% in the right is for?? Maeby the same should be added at the Recording area?? I also miss the ability to set up the Guide from within MP. (Also with an Update Now button) I still want the TV Preview area. I like to see whats on the channel before selecting fullscreen. Fore exampel when walking through the Now on TV, it would be nice. Also when walking through the finish recordings. |

| Portal Member | I'm afraid that I still think you need to make the font size larger. I know it's a mock-up, and not everyone watches TV on a 20" display from six feet away, but some of that text I couldn't possibly read from the other side of my room. That's just my personal requirement. |
