hi armandp, I have some scene releases with following "names":

movie-cd-1.ext
movie-xvid1.ext
movie_xvid_1.ext
movie1.ext
moviecd1.ext
movie.cd1.ext

is it possible to match them, too?

another nice feature would be if somebody could integrate a "AKA Title Search for"-option

the big lebowski would be with the rest of the b's.....

Is it possible to set the scanner to scan the directory names instead of the file names?

Since the filenames are usually like this:
- thecrown-sarah.iso

while the foldername is:
- Forgetting.Sarah.Marshall.2008.PAL.DVDR-TheCrown

the_ult: I believe it's already in the works. The settings for the plugin has a "each film has it's own folder" setting. At least to me that would translate to that function.

Yeah, normally if a folder only has one file in it or a two or three that have been grouped together it will use the folder name, otherwise the file name. Some of it is configurable, read armandp's post above.

that's entirely correct.. it's even had a makover in the current trunk (for 0.5.3)... note that the Use Folder Name setting differs from 0.5.2 (default setting is True in 0.5.3)... but it's smart in using Folder or File names like fforde mentions. If the folder is "cleared" to be used for the name it will use the folder name.. if you set it to False it will use the filename.

- Possibility to manually edit the IMDB-id
- Possibility to refresh imdb info after editting the title (or imdb id)

- Possibility to edit and refresh the movie from within MP

Movies not found by the scanner:
- Zomerhitte
- TBS
- Le Fabuleux Destin D'Amelie Poulain
