As many of you probably know, all backdrops for Moving Pictures are currently retrieved from themoviedb.org. This site is a great community driven resource and it exists because people just like you have volunteered to contribute in the past. I would strongly encourage you to contribute to this great site in any way you can, they are part of why Moving Pictures is so great. You can contribute in the following ways:

Upload New Artwork
Consider uploading backdrops and covers for movies that are missing artwork. 98% of the time, if you have a movie in your collection that is missing a backdrop, this means one just does not exist on themoviedb.org. You should consider creating and uploading one yourself!

Update and Improve Movie Details
Moving Pictures optionally can retrieve movie details from themoviedb.org. If you are interesting in improving movie meta-data, switch to this data source in Moving Pictures and go update / improve the movie details on the site.

Donate
Possibly most importantly, if you have the financial means, please also consider donating to themoviedb.org. Developing a great website like themoviedb.org not only requires time, but it also costs money to maintain. The current bill to run the web servers is $250 a month which is comming directly out of the pocket of the operator. This is a large financial burden, so please consider donating $5 or $10 to help support the site.
