Hallo Helge,

Mischa

TV-Engine 0.3/config-firewall - MediaPortal Wiki Documentation

Default SQL Error

Hi

I haven't used MPTVClient for some time and thought I should give the latest version a try. But I recieve this error (see attachment) when I try to connect to server.

It's still OK with MPTVClient ver 1.1.5.

It seems you have a problem with the hostname resolution.
try to add your hostname/ip adress mapping to your hosts file

First of all what a great app. Thanks

Hope you don't mind that I put a link to this FORUM on the NEBULA forums.

Using v1.2.5 (not the very latest code version as this fails with the same error as ChristerS)

The only major bug I seem to get is that tsbuffer files aren't deleted when the stream is disconnected (VLC closed) and you end up with multiple streams active.

From the logs you can see that four streams are still active when only stream1.4 is needed.

1.0, 1.2, 1.3 are all still active and recording the same channel

The error may not be totaly your app but partialy TVSERVER aswell as you can see from the new logs .

When a recording is active/present on a MUX/frequency and timeshifting also ocurs on the same MUX then the tvserver doesn't close open streams when discnnected until the recording schedule stops/finishes.
