Hello all and thanks to Chreekar for this great plug-in!

Some feedback:
- Icons of Emulator and Games go missing after first load; also, the display isn't refreshed even altough new icons have become available
- I think it would be easier if game-icons could be left in the ROM folder and wouldn't need to be put into the thumbs subfolder of MP.

I also had the same issues as "lordsavant":
I'm using a Hauppauge 45 key remote and configured a button in irremote.ini to send Alt-F4 (to close the Emulator). However, this never worked when launching an emulator from within MP using the plugin. The fix was in the MP setup: Remote > Hauppauge, then ENABLING the "external processes may use the remote control".
This also fixed the issue when quiting an emulator, that immediately got relaunched by the plugin.

One thing about the code (open source is just great!):
-Check out Path.Combine to put together filenames/folderpath. Takes care of "\" issues :-)

Thanks again & kind regards
-Tom

Last night I had the same issue with the emulator starting again after quitting.
I have Remote Wonder II that has a designated pre-programmed alt-F4 button.
I changed from My Programs since MP did not come back after quitting the emulator, but I think I'm stuck again now...

I had some issue with 1964 (N64 ***) loading the game (-g as command line switch) but then there is an error message. Starting the rom from rom browser directly afterwards works... Someone knows more about this?
I will look for the exact message later.
I changed from Project64 because all of a sudden it says "loading of image file failed" and I can't get rid of it. Starting the rom from rom browser directly afterwards works here as well... It worked ok before, don't know what I did. :-/

It looks great now anyway with the thumbs! /n

I have the same problem. Whenever I exit a launched emulator, it hangs and relaunches the emulator. And sometimes MP just hangs. I'm sure everyone's aware of the similar problem with MyPrograms. No matter if I exit using a gamepad, remote, or keyboard it does the same thing.

Have you tested this?

Does that work if one doesn't have a Hauppauge remote control?

My mistake, I forgot to mention I do not have a Hauppauge remote control. I tested it some more and noticed if I simply exit the launched emulator whether it be with a gamepad or keyboard stroke, MP turns completely blue (not BSoD) with no icons, and waits for another input. As long as that input is escape, it will go back to the main menu of MP and everything works great. Pressing anything else doesn't work except the "OK/ENTER" button which will launch the same emulator again.

This is a great program Chreekar, very good work!!

Okay, so the problem is that after quitting an emulator, however this is done, the plugin starts to behave strange. I have seen this, but haven't figured out why. I'm starting to think it may be something with the handling of the process, and I'll see if I can do this in another way to make it work better.

The same problem arise when an emulator (tested with Mame) is launched by "MyPrograms" since 0.2.2.

Yes, that is what I was referring to in my earlier post. But with me, MyPrograms will actually cause MP to hang when exiting an emulator, and the only way to stop it is to CNTRL+ALT+DEL and force the MP process to end. I tested this with Nestopia, FCE Ultra, and ZSNES on MyPrograms. I also read on other threads that this is only with release 0.2.2, and older versions worked correctly.

However, with MyEmulators, once the emulator closes MP just waits for an additional input, it does not hang and need to be forced to close. As long as ESCAPE is pressed, it will go back to the title screen for MP with no problem.
