Default New version

Yeah, proj64 worked outside. I tested on my other computer though, and it worked fine there. So try the new version out, and post a message on how it works :-) You'll have to reconfigure the settings though.

I've come quite far towards the next bigger release, which will support icons and a ROM database. I've thought about putting in game name, description, number of times played, a score, and an image. Any other ideas on what to support in this database?

EMKO: How does MAME work? How does it differ from other emulators that work in this plugin?

Stanik,

to get epsxe to work you need to include a switch ( -nogui -loadbin ) to your emulatore path in the plugin setup.
ie. c:/program files/epsxe/epsxe.exe -nogui -loadbin

that should make it work for you

First of all I want to thank you for a great plugin!

Some of you may allready know this, but at http://localarcade.com/screenshotarchive/ you can download screenshots, box scans and cart scans of your emulated games.

At http://www.emumovies.com/ you can download short preview movies of you emulated games.

It would be cool if we could use this with My Emulators like they do in gameex (emulator front end).

you cant change the name of mame roms or they wount run in mame so they will have weard names but you can extract the database from mame.exe and there are also Catlist.ini and history.dat both have info about the roms aswell in wich catogrie games go and history about the game. there is also nplayer.ini that one shows how many players each game supports.

you should take a look at Myprograms it supports mame

last thing if possible can you add video preivew support i have .avi videos for all roms collection.

Excellent Ideas, both of them. I would like to see this implemented if possible

Those video preivews make the frontend so much better. you get to see what the game is about befor loading it. This is the only reason i use Gameex instead of Myprograms or your new plugin.

Apparantly video previews and MAME support are popular requests. I'll definitely look into it!
