Default My Emulators v1.5.1

Sorry for that. I used MediaPortal's built-in method of finding out where the database directory is located, but it seems that this method doesn't exist in most versions. I tested it for version 0.2.2.0 of MP and it worked though. I'll upload a fix where I'll just hardcode it to install dir/database instead as soon as I can.

EDIT: I have now made the changes and tested it for MP version 0.2.2.0 and 0.2.1.0. As long as the animation tags in the skin are removed, it should work with the older versions. Let me know if I solved the problem!

The latest version is really great

One suggestion though..

It would be nice if the plugin searched subfolders in the ".\Thumbs\myEmulators\emulators" folder. Then you could sort your tumbs for the different emulators, and for example have one "NES-thumbs" folder and one "SNES-thumbs" folder.

Some of the games for NES and SNES have the same name so that doesn't work very well right now..

...must say I like the way this plugin is heading. Nice work!

Thanks, Now the plugin work very well!

What is now the best way to close emulator programs (without keyboard). Is it possible somehow to choose that some remote control button will be Alt+F4?

This is discussed a few pages back. I have a Pinnacle remote control and can bind keyboard commands to a button on the remote by editing an ini-file. Don't know how it works for other remotes though.

there is a program called HIP, and i have gotten it to map ALT+F4 to say the tv power button. some emulator front ends like gameex are somehow able to close any emulator with just the press of esc. anyone know how this works? i have been messing with this "close emulator" problem for a while now. i suppose that the best way is through HIP or GIRDER.

I am having "my emulators" stall when i configure it. i think, it is scanning through my roms? i notice the problem when in the config and i click the rom database tab. i happen to have a lot of roms, is there a set time it will take?

EDIT: nevermind, just needed to wait a while

This plugin is REALLY having some problems on my mediecenter. I've alot of emulators which I guess are not supported; like Project 64. The main problem with this emulator is, that it does not open at all.
The problem with other emulators are that after you've picked a game to play, you cannot return to mediaportal with manually doing that on the computer. This annoys me a LOT.
I am not much into mapping the remote, so maybe it could be fixed, but please, for the sake of us "newbies", please a kill process or something which is able to exit the emulator. Like a bind for ALT+F4 or something.
But when I do this manually on the computer it does a black screen, not returning to mediaportal anyway
