Can I use My Movies - Home together with myFilms?

I don't like ANT; what kind of stupid program is that??

I've installed MyFilms but have following problem:

I see the ANT database inside MyFilms, that is very good.
However I cannot play the file ?? When I select play, it says : "insert disc number = 14"

why is that ??¿¿

Hi Zebons,
I have a suggestion for an extension of the myfilms plugin:
Would it be possible to add a searchfunction for the description field? Currently I can search "name" and "actor". Or is this already possible and only a question of the skin?

I have no entered a couple of my movies in an ANT database, and I`ve installed MyFilms 4.5.7 using MPI installer in MP 1 RC2 with xface skins. I get all the movies up in the plugin which I have called "Films," but when I press play nothing happens. This goes for VIDEO_TS folders and .mkv files. What am i doing wrong?

F:/Myname/HD movies/The assassination of jesse james/the assassination of jesse james.mvk

the extension should be *.mkv , not mvk.. could be that you made a typo...

Just a typo offcourse

But I think I`ve managed to read myself up on whats wrong. Seems I have to use the SVN version with MP1 RC2, which I dont. I`ll try this when I get home, and report back.

That did offcourse do the trick, almost

Now two more problems has accured:
1) When I hit "play" on the .mkv films, I get the "incert disk n*" message. I can solve this manually by right clicking, update, file and then select the .mkv file. Then it plays fine. But I have to do this every time

2) When I do the same thing with the video_ts folder (select the video_ts.ifo file) the screen just gets black. I can still do things, like go back, but the movie wont play.

So:
1) Why do I have to import the file manually within MP to get it to play?
2) How do I manage to get picture from video_ts films?

EDIT: Problem nr 1) just dissapeared Im not sure why, but lets hope it stays that way...

I still have problem nr 2 though...MP plays .iso and .img files fine, just not video_ts...

If anyone's interested in getting rid of all the HTML that comes with a Movie Collectorz export I attached a small PHP (5) file that removes all html tags and replaces <br> with linebreaks. It also uses the fullsize images instead of the thumbnails when imported into My Films. Still working on fixxing the rating.

you need to specify these variables:
//The root directory where the files can be found
private $root;
//The name of the export
private $filename;
//The name of the converted output
private $filenameConverted = 'converted.xml';

Got the rating fixxed too. It sets the myrating to imdbrating
If anyone knows how to make stuff bold or underlined in MP lemme know. I'll change this script to make use of that.

First of all, Excellent work!

I have been looking for something to organise my movies better for awhile and this is awesome, i use MY Movies on my main pc, so therefore have all the data and covers, saw this was conpatible and was made up!

Got it all imported, (had some real problems getting covers to work at first) however the files won't play, i can't work out why, there must be a setting somewhere that i'm missing be really cool if someone could help!
