But at the moment, in 0.7.2 and below, they will not pull any language or subtitle data from your files.

Please post back with more detail if you need help - I'm happy to help if I can.

Great! I'm looking forward to v0.7.3.

Hi,
firs of all , thanks a lot for this greath plugin,
I have aproblem, maybe I'm doing something wrong: when I try to import a folder full of AVI files, the program find all the avi's, but don't process anithing cause they're "orphans" (not included in database)
This means that I have to insert all files with AMD before running the updater? This will be a loooong work to do...

There'se no way to insert the files directly wth AMC updater?

Second question: there'se some grabber for italian movies? like yahoo.it used directly by MP?

thanks in advance for the help

Hi,

I'm not sure if you're doing anything wrong, but to be honest it sounds like it's working fine! If you scan your movie collection it will find that the movies are not in the Ant database, so therefore they are orphans. Import step 4 - 'update xml' should do the import. That is, after all, the whole point of this program! Have you tried the 'just do it all' button or the individual buttons 1-4?

We don't have any Italian movie lookup sites yet; at some point it should be possible to create your own. Obviously we can't handle every Internet movie site, and at the moment we're concentrating on English and French due to the nationalities of the developers!

Cheers,

OrionHall.

p.s. If you can't get it to work then please post or private message me your logfile and I'll have a look.

Exclamation Bug when using latest MediaInfo.dll

Hi z3us,

Please try analysing the file using the 'Tests' tab. If the length is not shown there, then MediaInfo.dll cannot determine that from the file. In that case you could try downloading the latest version of MediaInfo from their website (under Help - Internet Links), although we haven't tested with anything other than the version shipped with AMCUpdater.

Cheers,

OrionHall.

EDIT : Confirmed. MediaInfo.dll v0.7.7.3 can get the runtime from MKV files. Please download this version and put it in the AMCUpdater application directory. I will do further tests and if all is well then this version will be included as standard in future releases.
Hi z3us,

Quick warning - I've found a problem using the latest MediaInfo.dll and AMCUpdater. The video and audio bitrates are not being returned like they were with the old version. I'm looking into how to fix that. In the meantime - please check your recently added files. Once this is fixed you may need to use the Manual Updater tab to fill in those details if they're of interest to you.

I've delayed the release of AMCUpdater 0.7.3 until this is resolved.

Cheers,

OrionHall.

I think there was an ofdb config file in the last release, wasn't there? Should be in the application folder under scripts - let me know if you haven't got it.

Cheers,

OrionHall.
