Yeah, I haven't found a way to improve that yet. The log window isn't actually hidden - it's just behind whatever other window is open. So if you make another app full-screen, and click on the AMCUpdater on the task bar, then only the main window shows. Drag it a tiny bit and the log will re-appear; or you can click Hide Log / Show Log to get it back.

If anyone knows of a better way to make the log window properly 'dock' to the main one, then please let me know!

Cheers,

OrionHall.

The program is deleting the entries of moved files instead of updating the path in source field.
I have to use AMCupdater again so the file is imported as a new entrie, and I have then to obtain information from internet again.
I hope you understand what I am speaking about
TY

Hi z3us,

Tough one to troubleshoot - please post or PM me your logfiles and a description of the file paths (where was the file, where is it now, what paths did you scan etc.)

Thanks,

Orion Hall.

Thanks z3us,

I think that your version has a problem with moved files, if they are moved to a child or parent folder. If you moved them to a completely different location it would work! I've just tested the latest code with a file moving from child to parent and parent to child folders (and parent of parent of folder, and child of child of folder!) - all working okay.

So, please bear with me, and I hope to release the new version soon!

Cheers,

Orion Hall.

Might it be that no pictures are imported when using automatic scripts ? Tried with ofdb and imdb script.

Can you give a title movies which isn't working for you (no picture imported) ?

I do a test with some and it's working for me. Some movies have no pictures effectively but there aren't on the site itself...

I just try with the first title : Braveheart and Ofd.de script and it's working fine : i got the picture.
Two questions :
- are you syre that the field Picture is selected in the database fields tab of amcupdater ?
- do you use the latest version of those scripts (try with the joined files)
Attached Files
File Type: xml MyFilmsIMDB.xml (3.9 KB, 8 views)
