Default Another can't get movies to play from hard drive thread

I been through the forums and seen several threads describing the same problem but I haven't found a solution. I'm using DVDProfiler and I have the following on the configuration screens:

General:

Catalog file - C:\collection.xml
Catalog Type - DVD Profiler
Picture Path - <Path to images> (Pictures display fine)
Ant Item for Storage File Info - URL
Search by movie's name unchecked
Path for Movies File Search - D:\
Ant Identification Item - <blank>
Ant Master Title - OriginalTitle
Hierarchy Separator - \
Ant Secondary Title - (none)
Default Poster - <blank>
Password - <blank>

Optional:

I don't think I changed anything on this screen so it's all default

DVD Profiler:

Notes Field contains only movie filename is checked. Everything else is blank or unchecked.

For my example, I have spiderman loaded in D:\spiderman\VIDEO_TS. If I put "spiderman" in the Notes field of DVD Profiler and export, I get "spiderman" in the URL field of collection_tmp.xml. When I select spiderman and click PLAY, I get a window saying:

My Videos
Please insert disc
disc n = 284
spiderman

I also tried using the whole path in the notes field. When I did that, nothing happened when I pressed play.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Which MyFilms's version do you use ? To know that take a look on the setup screen.

4.4.1.4 is current, thats why most probably zebons answer, we know it's not always easy if your native language is not English, but please try and read.

Nice choice on plugin and welcome to MP.

I downloaded the latest MesFilms.dll and copied it to C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\Mediaportal\plugins\Windows. Now the configuration screen shows version 4.4.1.4, however, I'm still seeing the same results when trying to play the movie.

Can you try to update the filename on one movie with the update button on the detailed screen ?
I think there is may be a bug with the filename search option with dvd files...
Another question : do you try to launch your DVD movie with the standard MP's video module ?

Give me the feedback...

Update did it. I clicked update, selected the video_ts.ifo file, and it worked. From there, I checked the collection temp file and found the correct way to enter the path. For anyone else with this problem, based on my spiderman example above, I had to put "D:\spiderman\VIDEO_TS\VIDEO_TS.IFO" (without the quotes) in the notes field.

One more question. I'm using the small icons view which shows the movie cover with the movie title below it. Is there any way to stop it from displaying the title so that it only shows the cover?

Thanks for the help.

Ok for the first point, there is a bug in the search function for dvd file (it works for divx). I'll take a look on it.

For the text under Icins, I didn't find it
It should be possible in the skin definition of the thumbnailpanel control but my tests aren't working.
The only way I find is to add the entry <textcolor>AA</textcolor> in the thumbnailpanelcontrol. The text disappear for the selected icon but remain for others....
If somebody have a solution it'd be nice....
