can someone post a how-to to get this working?

i've installed MyFilms_v4.3.2.573 and updated the dll to 4.3.5 but when i try and run it i am unable to configure a AMC database?

its not explained very well in any of the documentation that ive found, where/how do i get the AMC database from??

use ant movie catalog to make a movie database, save it as XML and you load that file in your configuration screen.

aha that seemed to do the trick, however i have my doubts about using this plugin. it seems a little high maintenence as i have to run it through AMCupdater which picks up my movies and then update each movie using ANT Movie Catalog to get picture/data. also i cant get it to play as it says:

please insert disc
disc n = 1
Server

also when running it through AMCupdater, i have "media type" set to HDD and "media label" set to SERVER, what are these supposed to be?

on the other hand if i go through my videos then to my movies folder, it updates all the data without using any external apps.

If you didn't like the way ANT Movie Catalog works, I'd really suggest to use MyMovies now that MyFilms supports the XML from it. I know MyMovies is a plugin to MCE, but you can use it just to manage your videos. I've taken a quick glance at ANT, but all-in-all, MyMovies has a much better and user-friendly GUI, and has an individual database of movies/covers (wich is contributed and maintained by their users), but can also use IMDB (or any other online movie database).

MyMovies also has alot of great features to keep your folders with movies up-to-date, like Folder Monitoring (adding movies to the db as they are copied into a folder it monitors), and support for importing an unlimited amount of movies from a folder, adding them with correct movietitle, and automatically download actors, cover-art, etc.

I don't get the folder monitoring to work. But maybe I need to have Windows MCE and not only Win XP SP2?

If I get folder monitoring to work. Is it possible to automatic export to xml file as soon as MyMovies database is updated? Otherwise folder monitoring `function is not much of use together with MyFilms since you anyway have to manually export the xml?
