For those who got a black screen when reading a DVD on disk. You cann't copy directly yours DVD's file on disc with a file manager. The copy will not be readable because of DVD's protection. If you do so it's normal that you get a black screen :?
If the plugin launch the DVD mounted on the DVD Drive instead of the stored movie on disc; it's because you have made a mistake in your configuration. Take a look in your setup and informations stored in your database (filename). Something is wrong

The movies have not been copied using a file manager and they play with My Video, but not with My Films. It would be nice to utilise all the information in the ANT database.

tx_guy - My setup is now fixed. I have received a couple of version of the .dll from Zebons to do some tracing of the problem and with the last version my setup is working correctly. I'm not sure what was changed, but the films now play as expected. Even the release v2.2.2 version now works correctly.

On the detailed screen, you can see a button on the left without label
With that button you can update some items of your database directly with MP 8) .
First you have to create a string in your specific language file (...\teammediaportal\mediaportal\language\English\ string.xml for example if your language is English). Add at the end :

<value>Update</value>
</string>
Where 'Update' is the label of that button.

By default 2 items can be updated 'Rating' and 'filename', this last item is visible only if you manage movies on discs so if you have filled the parameter 'ANT Item for Storage File Info' for launching videos stored on discs thru that plugin.
You can add 2 specifics items that you want to be able to modify with MP ('ANT Updating Items' group). Here, for each item, you have 3 boxes to fill :
- list box where you define the item of your database to be managed
- label that you want to see when you clic on the update button (no info and you'll get the item's name)
- default value that you want to have when you update that specific item
(no info = no defult value of course)
