the plugin is nice, but looks really weird as a stand alone button in main menu... should be embedded in now playing views (and now playing views should be better anyway)...

yeah, SteveV was kind to Pm me right back. He explained that due to the focus on the bugsolving that is going on and stability of the upcoming 0.2 final release, there is a "feature-freeze" that unfortunately don't allow the plugin to be integrated into 'My Music' at the moment. It's a quite resonable and logical step, that eases the work for the SteveV and Co, and our wait for 0.2 final will also be shortened. Accordingly, the lyric plugin will not be integrated totally in my music before the freeze is lifted. Hopefully it will be quite soon.

However the use of jk's work on the nonafo 'Now Playing' screen with a link to the 'My Plugin' screen, sort of integrates the lyrics screen to My Music, so the nonafo skin is very much recommended in the use of this plugin.

I'm currently working on automatic save and lookup of lyrics using xml (done!) and the ability in configuration to view, edit and delete the downloaded lyrics (just started). Iøm planning on the release of version 0.03 in the beginning of next week. In time it will be possible to export the collection of lyrics and manually to add new to the database.

I have already lots of lyrics gathered with Evillyrics thru the years those are stored in alphabetical folders (Folder called 'A', 'B', '3' etc...) and the filename is according the music file so it can be matched. the filetype is *.txt. Is there anyway my lyrics can import this or just match the music file in mediaportal with the lyric from the folders?

If not i would love to see this implemented because i love the idea of a lyric plugin in my music of MP and it's definitly a feature i want to have on my Media pc. Keep continuing this plugin because it's awesome

Sure thing, I'll add that feature. It should be pretty easy to do so, all though I might require that the txt's are located in the same directory.

Could you make the txt scrollable via the percentage of the song

so if 10% of the song has been played the txt scrols automaticly to the next 10% of the lyric. It will not be accurate be it will be better the changing maunally and you will have a large overlap

I could do that, knowing that it would only fit a rather small selection of songs. It might be added as an option for the user to switch on in the configuration of the plugin.

A better solution would be to enable a "tag mode", where the plugin saves the timestamps when the user turn to the next page. The next time the lyric is played, these timestamps will be used to automatically turn to the next page. Just a thought, that may be considered more indepth in time.

Features added:
- Saves lyrics in database and loads them automatically
- Lyrics editor in configuration (Import, add, delete and edit).
- Support for Nonafo skin (thanks to jk)

Existing bugs:- [Bug 01]: When shifting rather fast through the playlist in ‘My Lyrics’ the ws at times stalls and is first released approx. 65 seconds later.

Issues to consider:- Complete integration to MyMusic
- The lyrics engine currently requires the tag information to be (almost) flawless and identical to a lyric at one of the supported lyricssites. Future versions should contain a less restrictive criteria.
- The lyric engine requires that Google have a catched copy of the lyric from one of these sites. Future versions should contain a less restrictive criteria.
- Alternative ways to display lyric.
- Support for more lyricssites in multiple and/or different languages.
- Support for more skins.
