banner download problems

Hi when I try to run the config window and i check the logs, it say it finds the episodes etc fine and the banners but has the following error:

Banner download failed ... etc

Also previous to this recent attempt to update my tv series, the old tv series i had did get their banners downloaded successfully, and they stay when I clear the database out and redo the search. Which kinda makes me think that these banners are not being redownloaded and are stored somewhere local. So the quesiton is where are they stored and how do I delete them.

Also how do i get the banners to download for my new tv series, which includes the sorpranos, lost etc.

The banners should be saved in MediaPortal\Thumbs\MPTVSeriesBanners. You might also attach a log showing this occurring. That would probably be more helpful.

Ok I did a work around, I deleted the MPTVSeriesBanners directory and redid the series downloads. This time it did download the banners and episode artwork.

So it seems to be a bug in that when I added more new series' it wouldnt download the artwork for those.

Also having to redownload all those images is a pain for me, as Im in Ireland where it is the middle ages, and I have a crap mobile internet solution as the morons at Eircom dont know how to install ADSL enable exchanges everywhere... This mobile internet solution, if you can call it a solution, caps my usage to 5 GIGS!

what a joke...

Anyways job done, its all working, hopefully I wont be charge 100Euros for extra downloading haha.
