TVRenamer - Rename your files

I found this on the TVDB forums the other day and its a promising tool:

It connects up to thetvdb.com which is nice. I know that CCMatrix is trying to get his MediaRenamer plugin working with thetvdb.com but as far as I know it still uses Episodeworld.com. I am not the author of this tool I am just cross posting for the benefit of this wonderful community.

Im using Media Renamer myself, which is working well but i will be keeping my eye on this one.

Any of the tools that renames to xyz-720p for 720p movies?

Would make it easy to use the logos...

How should a renamer tool which parses database entries know which format the files have ?

there is no need to have 720p in the renamed filename as TV-series can get the video size straight from the video.

also theTVDB.com has given the TV Renamer its own forum on their site. and the program works great, and more importantly the creator responds to messages at impressive speeds. any bug i've found has been fixed in less then 12 hours normally in less the 10 minutes

Can this app handle dubble episodes?

it's designed to, but since it is a new app it might have some bugs parsing certain double episode filenames.

i have had it parse 3 double episodes so far and only one did not parse correctly, all it was missing was the second episode number, which is minor and an easy manually fix.
