Cant even pass extraction...

Ive downloaded MediaPortal RC1.0 twice now with the same error :- The application failed to initialize properly...
I checked 10 pages of the forums but found none with the same error. Any advice?

Have you got XP sp2 + .net updates installed, or Vista SP1 + updates.
