Default Enter standby mode from within My TV

I recently bought a FireDTV card. I noticed that when I select the My-TV screen, or just watch TV, the standby function does not work anymore. When I go back to the home screen I can put the set in standby again.

Is this normal behaviour, or is there something wrong ?

Regards,
Marcel

Have you got in powerscheduler config "only allow standby in home screen" enabled.

I'm using 1.0 RC1 and don`t see this option in both Mediaportal configuration power scheduler plugin and TV server configuration power scheduler plugin.

Am I looking into the wrong power scheduler ?

MP Config\Powerscheduler client plugin, right click and select configuration.

First line, be aware if unticked this will shutdown your pc in any MP screen whether it is playing music\video or not after the set time of inactivity.

Does your remote not have a power button configured to standby, its a lot easier that way.

To Paranoid Delusion: Thanks for your help, I overlooked the powermaneger client so enabling it and changing the setting did the trick.
It`s only not clear to me what the relation is between the 3 power managers. ( 2 in MP, 1 in TV server ) a bit confusing.

to FoOd: In my case I have a power button on the fornt panels as well on the remote, which put the set in suspend. With both switches it didn`t work in the TV screen. After following the advise above it worked.

Regards,

Marcel
