PsisDecd.dll version 6.5.1.900 - Outdated?

Hiya fom a Newbie

Sorry if this is an old query.

I've just done an install using the deployment tool...

to instal TVServer single seat config at the moment.

Of course I had the following error;

Version 6.5.2600.2180 of Psisdecd.dll in C:\Windows\System32...

So I applied the Microsoft hotfix KB896626

& the what I think is the latest DVBFIX I could find here.

But now I have still an error with outdated parser, but now a different version;

Version 6.5.1.900 of Psisdecd.dll in C:\Windows\System32...

Can anybody advise what I should do please?

Hi, newbie also here! Got the same psisdec error message. I assume I need to use the Hotfix listed above, or like the OP what do we need to do to fix this? Thanks

install required hotfix as per : GeneralRequirements - MediaPortal Wiki Documentation

BDA/DVB hotfix - This essential hotfix is allready included in Roll-Up 2 of Windows MCE 2005, for Windows XP you have to install it manualy. [Updated psisdecd.dll]

Thanks for your reply.

Yes, I have applied the hotfix & run DVBFIX.

But I still get the error message, all that is changed is that the version number of PsisDecd.dll changed in the error message!

Have I missed something??

Please post your logs, I need to verify if you deleted the DVBFIX directory after applying it...

Thanks again, I don't think I have deleted the DVBFIX folder.

I'm away from home until the weekend, so if it is ok with you I cannot forward my logfiles before Saturday.

Attached are my log files as requested by Simone.

Since her last message I have deleted the DVBFIX folder, but I still have the error on starting Tv-Server Config.

I do not know whether the error is significant, any help would be appreciated.

DVBFIX folder must be left in place, this is the most common error.

I have checked that dvbfix folder is at c:\DVBFIX and run the install.bat file again

Windows says important files have been changed but I do not allow it to replace them with originals.

Also I have attached Tv Server logs.

seems like you are running RC1 refresh without latest SVN.
Please update here: http://forum.team-mediaportal.com/me...603-rar-42124/ and retest.

New logs are needed as well
