Default Reason: Attention grabbing....

Inker deleted my post for, (Reason: Attention grabbing....)

Is that the real reason?

Inker do you actually believe that, that is why I have been asking these questions for a week and a half?

I am trying to learn how to get AMC/MyFilms/MediaPortal to work together. I have never setup a HTPC before.

Inker was quite right, sorry, you are multiposting, and trying to run before you can walk.

take a step back and make sure the MP basics are working and you understand why, then try to add extra's, honestly no one wants to dishearten you in your efforts to get everything working, but it is a learning curve and does involve a knowledge of windows and its paths etc.

Good Luck with your endeavours, just keep on subject in a single post.

Thanks

No, but that is the reason you posted this specific thread, in which all you did is ask people to read another thread, and that is not ok. You tried to draw attention to a another thread in another subforum, hence "grab attention".

Of course you can ask any question (well.....within reason) but please only do so in one place. If you feel you have missplaced a thread, you can ask a mod to move it (but give some thought as to where you put it BEFORE posting).

All is good, no worries

Default I will do the best I can to slow down

I wish Inker would have said: Multi-Posting as you did Paranoid Delusions.

Yes I am guilty of multi-posting, but with an explanation.

You said, I am trying to run before you can walk. I will do the best I can to slow down and walk.

I have actually printed out and read the MediaPortal Manual, the AMC Manual and the MyFilms Documentation.
Unfortunetly for me, when the setup screens ask for info.which gets into the areas of the where to put, how and why of .dll and other such programs ect... I am still crawling.

I took the statement: Attention Grabbing as offensive.

Thank You All for Your Help.

Ok
