TV-Server as a replacement in Vista MCE (like VistaTV)?

Could the TV-Server be used as a tuner replacement in Vista MCE like VistaTV?

I found the "MCE Replacement Plugin", but as I understood is this just for the MCE IR-remote, not the tuner itself.

I really like the Vista MCE, but it can't show HDTV via satellite and that's what I really want.

now that is an interesting idea... using the engine to drive tv, but keeping the Vista MCE EPG, or having the option to use the EPG from TVE3?

Devs - would this be possible?

the main problem is at time a rtsp filter to work with windows mediaplayer

the ts reader works

i think it is not possible
wmp or mcml will not accept the rtsp stream
sorry i have no more idea for this
