| Portal Member | Hi! Just wondering if anyone now how to "clone" a card between two or more digital TV-tuners? I now about SmartWi and Future Innovations wireless solutions but I would like to do the same thing inside my HTPC and then this wireless solution is kind of overkill Any one knows how to do his? |

Country: | you mean clone a subscription card? This cannot be done within MediaPortal. It is not supported in any way. It's also best if this thread stops here before a Mod deletes it. Discussion of this subject is not welcome. |

| Portal Member | Please read my post.... I've just want to use one smartcard to decode multiple channels from two diffrent digital tuner card inside one machine. It's NOT illegal in any way. In that case even SmartWi would be illegal and it'snt, Dreambox would be illegal and it'snt and every digital box with two built in tuners would be illegal....and I don't know any country they are illegal to use. So I repeat my question. Is there any (legal ) way to decode two or more channels with the same number of digital tuner cards inside one singel machine with the same smartcard and not use systems like SmartWi? Maybe something more simple with wires insteed ![]() |

Country: | TVE3 decodes all the channels on the same mux, this is sufficient in most cases. At least for me.

| Portal Member | Thats's why I posted it in Offtopic. What im after is a hardware solution that shares one card to two tuners. I now about some wifi solutions but they're quite overkill inside one singel box. It has to exist some kind of CAM that can coexist in two tunercards, or more. As mink said, TVE3 solves some problems inside on singel mux. But it's not helpful for me. |
