| Portal Member | Hi, after quite a lot of google search i cant find solution to this... i would like to password protect some of the drives in my server so that only one computer in the house can access those particular drives. i think in windows server is simple but i need to use windows xp as my my system is not very powerfull. the problem i think is that in the server there is only 1 user called (htpc1) and in my computer i have user (gixxer) but if i create more users in the server it adds boot trouble plus uses space. can someone help me? when i get to the sharing screen in xp i am able to grant access to users in that computer but not users in other computers of the network. thanks alot, i have wasted so many hours trying to find how to do this !!!! ![]() |
