Weren't intended as strong words, more as a satire on the fact that he is both complaining and making requests at the same time. Moreover to the fact that the post title implies that he is against US support; though the country in his profile says US. If you noticed the structure of my post it was complain first suggest later, somewhat similar to his post. And lastly my post number does not indicate the length to which I've been around MP. I only recently joined the forum because I was seeking to become more involved and help out with code; however I've been testing Mediaportal since it was released and I've been around XBMC far longer which is what mediaportal was somewhat derived from. If anyone was offended, sry was only meaning to make a joke.

don't think you've been here long enough to start telling people what to do !
And so is the perston that started this weird thread. To me deeceefat2's reply seems like an adequate answer to the first post.

The title was ironic, damn, irony never works on the internet. I and *many* others have issues with the program and request the ability to manually add channels. Aswell as having issues with it skipping channels, and there being a disrepancy between the found channels between the two tuners on the same card! Using the regular Mediaportal 0.2.2.0 it finds all my channels and there are no disrepancies either! The other problem is as I said, TVEngine orders channels by index and doesn't intuitively let you reorder them based on the european way (the customer sets the order). It's just a beta, I am sure this will be addressed later.

2) you provided little or no specifics about which channels it was missing or any data that would help to fix it
3) you turned a topic that should have been straight forward about some features you feel are lacking and possible fixes, into some lame fight about european support vs US, when the both features can coexist
4) your country says that you are from US...

Suggestions:
1) drop the sensationalist approach simply state what you would like to request
2) dispense with the US vs Europe theatrics
3) change your country to accurately reflect where you are from if you intend to make biased arguments because of it
4) have a merry Christmas
good post
