Home Theater PC or Media Center PC?

What are our entertainment PC's offically known as? Home Theater PC's(HTPC) or Media Center PC(MCPC)?

I call mine a Media Centre, because my room isn't much of a theater as in i'm lacking a huge widescreen HD flat panel tv lol i've only got a 24" Widescreen CRT TV. What about everyone else?

I call mine an htpc. Its used as a home theatre sometimes and as a pc other times. I can lay on my couch with my Gyration mouse and keyboard and do online banking and then fire up mediaportal and do the media stuff!

I call it a htpc, but the rest of the family seem to use 'Entertainment Centre'.

My Media Centre PC is a PC/Media Centre/Gaming Console... so i call it a PC Console

i couldn't think of a more creative name lol. Entertainment Centre eh? thats actually not a bad name for it, i mean, thats basically media centre, just, not =/ okay i'm rambling on now so ima shut up and post this

If im watching tv or some video ive downloaded i watch it on my 21 tv

If its a movie im watching ill sometimes use the projector i have. Its hidef but i dont mind.

I dont really like saying media center as it makes me think of mce, so since i do have a projector htpc makes more sence.

Since it doesn't have Media Center on it... why call it that?
It's the MS branding that has us all thinking Media Center pc...
Like all tissues are Kleenex ... etc

anyway... i call mine the Living room pc

pvr or personal video recorder. It's referred to around the house as "the pvr"

For some days ago, me and my girlfriend called it (mostley she did..)

"damn crap u draged in to our living room"

...but now when i bought Firedvt (and MP really works...) then we (mostley I anyway..) call it MP... MediaPlayer/Portal...HTPC..

And sometime just a "smile" when i think about the applikation that Mediaportal is...
