Think again you do.. I for one and a good number from the emails I get here do :

PC1 - SAGETV
PC2 - GBPVR
PC3 - MediaPortal
PC4 - Beyond TV

Each one has PVR-150 card inside

I then use MediaMVP to play back the media from the recorded folders from each PC I have access too. Works great. I am also testing these programs out to see if the bugs are present?

Volume problems
Timeline
Video problems

an etc...

Do you have all those different programs in one network?
I really do not understand at all where you are going with this.

We all use a PC with windows and MEDIAPORTAL to view/record/listen to media and do not need or use any MediaMVP stuff....

MediaMVP is a F&^%ING ugly way to watch media
