Need to play dvd movies on ipod!!!

Hi everyone, I used to watch DVD’s at home with ease but since now it’s become a little difficult to watch them at home I have been using an iPod.But the problem is that they do not support the DVD format and if I convert them somehow with software they mess up the quality of the movie. Does anyone know of better software to convert dvd movies to ipod format?

I always use aimersoft dvd ripper to convert DVD to mp4 video for my iPod, my friends recommend it to me, it's easy to use and the conversion quality is nice, you may download it for a try, here is a step by step guide about how to use it
