I'm curious if using these new drivers will fix my issue of not being able to record an analog and ATSC/HD show at the same time...

That was not like a stretched V shape lightning strike was it, have had this problem with my 6600GT AGP with a variety of nvidia drivers, and now on my new setup with a 7900GS PCI-E.

Amazingly had to install a 7100 whilst waiting for my 7900 and had no problem with that, as soon as installed the 7900, problem came back.

Anyway updated driver and cannot see the problem at moment, keeping fingers crossed.

Regards.

Yes, I had the "V shaped lightning strike". Mine started in the upper left corner and looked like an odd kind of video tearing.

Thanks for confirming same, thought i was seeing things, as sometimes there and sometime not, and never seen anyone querying it.

Assumed it was a graphics card problem, but how come it's taken Nvidia so long to put this right.

Regards

I am running these drivers, also got the Purevideo Decoder installed. So I thought I should give 1080p a go. Went to Apples Trailer-page and downloaded a trailer (as they are coded in h.264 I presume). 1080p will just not run. WMP starts to look for new codecs and then just stops. PowerDVD 7 will not show any picture, and then sort of hangs. Any tips of how I can get it running?

I have tried it on 2 computers. On one (using 6600GT) the clip will actually start but there is no hardware acceleration going on. On the other (using 6150) all 720p movies run great, and another 1080p clip, but thats not h.264. No Apple 1080p trailers will even start. I know 6150 isnt supposed to do 1080p but I thought it would start at least. Or is it hardcoded not to even bother with clips with this resolution?
