Sorry for being TOTALLY off topic, but I hope here there's someone that can help me.

We are going to buy some laptop, here at work. We were thinking about a acer featuring a intel 950 GMA (graphi media accelerator). Does someone know how many vertex per object are handled by thins integrated graphic card?

We need to install a software that needs more than 65.000 vertex

I was not able to find this data over the internet (maybe I do not know the right keyword to look for).

Don't know about the graphics capabilities, but just a word on Acer.
I bought an Acer Aspire laptop as it seemed good value for money but in actual fact it was a total waste. The battery life (stock battery shipped with unit) is good for about 25 minutes maximum, the unit gets very hot despite the fan and the space bar on the keyboard died within 6 months of limited use (less than 1 hour a week).
I'd look elsewhere.

Thanx for the advices on the brand, we'll think about it...
but the problem remains. How many vertex or primitives a gma 950 can handle?

p.s. however acer is the only brand that do a insurance for all type of damage to the laptop
