Country:  |  Transcode video using ATI GPU? Looking at this article, do you think ATI will open up the API or provide some source code so open source developers might be able to use the GPU - that is IF (that is a BIG IF- people) ATI will open up and provide opensource developers some help, after all it might actually help sell some of their video cards! But it would be MUCH better if they would start opening up their driver development and maybe we could have some really kicker drivers through opensource! Enough said for now. Mike |
