Country: | Please copy and past this http link for a look at a product I found. Does anyone know anything about this setup? It looks like you just download your Movie's to this Hard Drive, take it to where you want hook it up to a TV without a computer and watch your media. G-TECH G-PLAY Portable Media Player I would like to setup an External Hard Drive to do the same thing, using AMC / MyFilms / MediaPortal. What would I have to do? Is it possible? ![]() I just got a phone call from the company and they are discontinuing the G-Play Portable Media Player. Last edited by Surfer; 2008-06-03 at 16:30. |

Country: | Easiest solution is to get a PMP (e.g. Archos or Cowon) and use that. they are small, let you watch films on the go, or let you hook up to a TV for a bigger screen. If you want a MediaPortal experience from something portable then you will need a laptop ![]() |
