view tvguide.xml in external program

Hello,

I search something to view the tvguide.xml out of MediaPortal. I don't want to start MP all the time when i want to know whats on Tv.
Is there like a program to view tvguide.xml?

I'm searching for a light and simple program.
Or i will make my own...

hi!

why program your own tvguide when there are several tools out?
you can try tvbrowser for example.

http://www.tvbrowser.org/

with tvbrowser you don't need the tvguide.xml

or try the pvr scheduler:
http://www.pvr-scheduler.de/

I really want something to read the XML files.
I made a custom grabber for my region and i want to read the xml file.
Therefore i search something like tvbrowers but want to import the xml file.

I already use the pvr program but it only has a tvguide in MP.

Never used it, but maybe it's what you're after? Plenty other links to try at xmltv.org...
