Default Will I be able to do this with the new TV engine?

Hi, I am planning the ultimate HTPC scenario for me, but will it work?

This is my plan:

I have one HTPC in the livingroom (without any tv tuners)
one HTPC in the bedroom (without any tv tuners)
and one server in another room. (With wired network to the HTPC's)

So when the TV engine 3.0 is released I am planning to get two dual-tuner DVB-T PCI cards and installing them in the server.
I then hope that the MD-api plugin is going to get finished (hopefully) soon. And use the plugin with my VALID boxer subscription-card.

I then hope that I can use all 4 tuners with all (scrambled channels) on both HTPC's.

Is my project to good to be true, or will I be able to do this in the future?

Well the client/server part of that should be fine, that is one of the main points to 0.3 development i believe.

As for the scrambled channels, i really have no idea about that. I've never bothered reading up on what can and can't be done with that.

I don't know but there are some cheap cards like:

Pinnacle PCTV 2000i Dual DVB-T Pro
Terratec Cinergy 2400i DT

both cost about 90 Euros

With the MD-api plugin witch is in development, a Phoenix USB cardreader and my boxer -card. The MD-api plugin is a softcam, but I don't know how long after the new tv-engine is released it will take to develop it fully.
