Country: | Area: My TV/Powerscheduler MP Version: CVS build from 21/11/2005 Skin: BlueTwo Windows Version: Windows XP SP2, .NET 2.0 CPU Type: Intel P4 2.8Ghz Memory: 512MB, DualChannel Motherboard Chipset: ? (Intel 865) Video Card: Radeon X700 Video Card Driver: Catalyst 5.9 Video Card Resolution: 1920x1080i Video Render Type: VMR9 Video Codec Type & Version: Nvidia Audio Codec Type & Version: Nvidia TV Card: DNTV TV Card: Haup 150MCE Optional Log: N/A Optional References:N/A Synopsis: I have found that scheduled recordings that are set to record "Daily" do not trigger MP to wake from sleep. However scheduled recordings such as "Every time on this channel" or manual recordings for a specific date and time will result in the system waking properly. It appears to me that the Powerscheduler is not setting the wakeup time correctly for "Daily" recordings. I don't have access to the logs on the PC at the moment, so I will post the log files when I get back home. |

Country: | Ok, I can see what is going on here. It appears that when power scheduler is processing the recording database it handles "Daily" recordings incorrectly. If you look at the initial entry when I added the recording on the 22nd you see in the log: 22/11/2005 7:47:36 PM PowerScheduler: Next date/time:23/11/2005 10:59:00 AM Type aily Nine Digital National Nine Morning News 22/11/2005 7:47:36 PM PowerScheduler: Next date/time:1/01/0001 12:00:00 AM Type:Every2 ABC Digital Midday Report The program should record the next dat at (23rd) at 11 AM. I have another recording that wakes up the sytem at 6:30 AM as idicated by this message: 22/11/2005 9:56:06 PM PowerScheduler: found new, next scheduled event 23/11/2005 6:29:00 AM triggered by: Power Scheduler at this point the log shows: 23/11/2005 6:27:02 AM PowerScheduler: Next date/time:24/11/2005 10:59:00 AM Type aily Nine Digital National Nine Morning News 23/11/2005 6:27:02 AM PowerScheduler: Next date/time:1/01/0001 12:00:00 AM Type:Every2 ABC Digital Midday Report ....... 23/11/2005 6:27:11 AM PowerScheduler: TVGuide Midday Report ABC Digital 23/11/2005 11:59:00 AM 23/11/2005 6:27:11 AM PowerScheduler: GetNextRecordingStarttime() starttime 23/11/2005 11:59:00 AM ie the Daily recording has now jumped to the next day (24th) even though there is an occurrence of the program today 23rd, it has skipped over that and the next recording is the "every" recording later in the day. So, it appears that when the power scheduler reads in the recording database it is incorrectly handling the date of "Daily" recordings by always skipping to the next day, even if there is a recording on the current day that has not triggered yet. I'm not sure if there is any interest in Powerscheduler, as it appears most people prefer PVR scheduler, it's just unfortunate as PowerScheduler is integrated, and (mostly) works very well. |
